Small Farm, Big Heart, Growing Goodness!
Hand-tended, specialty produce grown and shared with care.
Each week during the growing season, we bring hand-grown, chemical-free, nutrient-dense vegetables to our local farmers market, along with other thoughtfully sourced goodies from our small collective of local growers.
We’re not a traditional CSA, but we offer weekly shares and farm credit that you can purchase in advance to support our work. Every seed we plant, row we weed, and harvest we bring to market reflects our commitment to providing fresh, healthy food and supporting our local food community.
Buying local matters — it keeps food connected to the people who grow it, supports our neighbors, and ensures the freshest ingredients make it to your table. We work hard to make that connection meaningful and personal, and we welcome your wisdom, stories, and feedback as we continue to grow.
Thank you for supporting small-scale, community-focused agriculture — from our hands (and paws) to your plate.
Many heatfelt thanks! - Megan and Wing Bean (resident mouser)
Through organic, regenerative farming practices, along with traditional fermentation, we grow food that nourishes the body, cares for the land, and reengages us with one another and the wisdom of our ancestors.
Our approach is guided by the principles of hwa (화), jeong (정), and sīla (실라)—harmony, deep connection, and mindful integrity.
Hwa represents the natural balance we strive for—between people and the land, past and future, growth and sustainability.
Jeong reflects the bonds we cultivate through food, farming, and shared traditions.
Sīla reminds us to act with integrity and care in all we do.
We believe that food is medicine—not just for our bodies, but for our relationships with the land and each other. By embracing slow, intentional approaches we honor natural processes and hope to offer an alternative to the rush and scarcity that define much of the modern food system.

Our matriarch began providing accounting services for individuals and small businesses in 1977. With the next generation, we are excited to offer additional capacity building and financial management support to small farmers, grassroots organizations, and independent artists - the old fashioned way.
We meet with our clients 1 on 1 and spend time getting to know you and your organizational goals on a personal level.

Philly Small Growers Collective is a vibrant, values-driven group of beginning farmers, educators, and creatives who organize for successful land-based careers and well-being for all.
Rooted in care, collaboration, and mutual support, we are building a shared practice of growing food, knowledge, and community—while honoring slowness, interdependence, and joy.
Through regular meetings, we are creating alternatives to extractive systems by weaving together practical skill-sharing, deep relationships, and a vision of collective abundance.
Megan Storm is a South Korean-American adoptee and beginning farmer. Her first career focused on supporting independent natural winemakers who practiced biodynamic agriculture and low-intervention fermentation methods. From 2017-2023, she advanced equity in food systems with the City of Philadelphia and provided capacity building support for community and faith-based food access and urban agriculture programs. She is a co-founder and organizer with the Greater Philly Small Growers Collective.
For centuries, the lands on which we farm today were home to and cared for by the Indigenous peoples of the Susquehannock and Lenapehoking (Lenni-Lenape) Tribes. Read our full Land Acknowledgement and Access Statement.
Our agreements align with Soul Fire Farm's Safer Space.
Cultivate an inclusive environment of belonging and rootedness where people can engage with our farm and each other based on shared values of hwa (화), jeong (정), and sīla (실라)—harmony, deep connection, and mindful integrity—honoring the wisdom of our family, spiritual, and land ancestors.
Promote the health benefits of nutritious, locally-grown foods and fermentation, resharing knowledge about how these practices can enhance physical well-being and connect us with cultural traditions.
Continuously improve and expand our farming methods by focusing on regenerative, non-extractive practices that respect the land, honor natural cycles, reduce waste, and eliminate the need for chemical interventions. We do not intentionally use GMOs, synthetic sprays, or chemical fertilizers.
Recognize abundance in time, resources, and relationships, emphasizing sustainable growth and moderation that avoids unnecessary urgency, scarcity, and greed.
Create a space that demonstrates how we can thrive in small settings and offers future generations of growers access to resources to cultivate their dreams, strengthen their sense of belonging, and contribute to a balanced and thoughtful world.
